I seek as well to serve the Lord and desire to influence and win people for Christ. In addition to my pulpit ministry, I have had the opportunity for fifty years to influence many young people for Christ as the result of my mentoring through coaching. While we are not to be of the world we are still in the world and are to be salt and light in the world. Influencing others for Christ doesn’t just flow from the pulpit but in our everyday living and in the areas where God has gifted us to minister and influence others. As far as worldly principles to success, they are drawn from the Bible, for hard work is the secret to achieving, advancing, influencing, and ministering for Christ whatever area in which we are ministering for Christ. Ministering for Christ must go beyond the four walls of the church, and for the last 50 years I have sought to minister for Christ within the church and outside the church. You may call it drivel, I thank the Lord daily for allowing me the privilege and opportunity to ministry for him in two arenas of activity. May the Lord bless as you minister for him.
